Project Brief

Design Process was engaged as part of the Owners Project team for their Heavy & Light Vehicle Wash Bay Facility.

The Wash Bay comprises:

• A drive through Wash Bay accommodating ultra-class truck and dozer mine fleet
• Ground mounted & elevated gantry mounted spray guns each side of the Wash Bay.  
• LV Bay features a simple slab and high-pressure wash down unit.  
• LV & HV Wash Bay slabs drain to a drive-in clean-out sump, overflowing to oil/water separation chambers and water filtration unit. 

Our scope was to engage with the operational stakeholders, develop concept design layouts, traffic flow and interface diagrams.

During the design phase we managed the engineering for the civil & structural design & drafting, and shop detailing.
